Roy E. ?Seaweed? Siegfried, 82, passed away November 7, 2007 in Kennewick, Washington. Roy was born January 6, 1925 in Denver, Colorado to Emil and Mary Ann Kapeller Siegfried. Roy served in the Navy and was a World War II Veteran 1942-1945, a member of the VFW Post #7952, American Legion Post #34, Eagles FOE Post # 2485, and the Kennewick Senior Center. Seaweed was a Plumber & Pipefitter, amassing 50 years as a member of Local 598 & Local 3. Seaweed enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Fred, John, Ray, and Joe; and sisters Mary and Frances. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Alice; daughter Kathy; grandchildren Christine and Carolyn; great-grandchildren Tessa, Lillian and Lucas; nieces and nephews Dorothy, LeRoy, Barbara, Dick, Mike and several more. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 15, 2007, 10am, at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street in Kennewick. Immediately following the services a Celebration of Life will be held at the Kennewick Eagles Lodge Fruitland and Canal Drive
