Rosie S Perez July 27, 1930 - August 1, 2011 Our beloved Rosie, age 81, was born in Corsicana, Texas on July 27, 1930, and passed peacefully surrounded by her family on August 1, 2011. She moved to the state of Washington in 1962 and has lived in the Tri Cities for 27 years. Rosie is survived by her husband Jose D. Perez Sr. and children Janie Perez, Joe D. Perez Jr., Israel Perez, Mary Ann Flores, Rosemary Perez Valledares, Diana Perez Carillo, Herman Perez, Cynthia Flores, Dannie Perez and their spouses, 32 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 8 sisters and 3 brothers. Rosie will be truly missed by many because of the beautiful person that she was. She lived for her children. There was nothing more important than her family and making sure they were safe and happy. She loved to cook and always made sure no one left her house hungry. She loved family gatherings and raising farm animals, fishing, gardening and watching her children dance. We admired her strength and honesty and we thank God for giving us such an amazing woman in our lives. She will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her father Manuel Santos, mother Maria Santos, daughter Mary Elizabeth Perez, stepson Jesus Perez, brother Felix Santos, brother Ronnie Lyn Santos, and sister Socorro Sarmienta. We would like to thank the staff at KGH hospital, and the Hospice team for their kindness and support not only to her but to all of our family. God Bless you all. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home, 1608 W. Court Street, in Pasco.
