Rosendo (Chendo,RC) Briones was taken by the Lord July 29, 2022. He was born on September 27, 1947, in Dr Arroyo Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father Justino Briones, brothers Joe Briones, Robert Briones and sister Elida Briones. He is survived by his wife Maria I Briones his two sons Jesse F. Briones, Rosendo Jr Briones wife Nikki Briones, daughters Maria I. Lopez husband Ricardo Lopez, Chriselda E. Licea and 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren. His mother Maria Castilleja, sister Consolacion Morales, Aurora Guerra, and Jesse Briones.
He was born in Dr. Arroyo Nuevo Leon, Mexico where he lived most of his younger years in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico up to the age of 18. Where his family then migrated to Walla Walla, WA. for a better life. He then married the love of his life Maria I Montes and they remained married for 52 years. Together they moved to the Tri-Cities where he lived the remainder of his life.
He worked mainly in agriculture and then finished his career in construction. He worked in construction for 20 years for the Labors Union Local 348. He worked at Ice Harbor Dam, Edison overpass, Hanford Reservation and Boise Cascade just to name a few. Rosendo then commuted from Tri-Cities to Seattle for 9 years where his working companions knew him as RC or Chendo. He also helped built the floating bridge and tunnels in Seattle. Rosendo enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, poker, dancing and going to family functions. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, joking around with his friends, and he loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers games and hours of boxing.
