Obituary

Rosemarie Baker, née Seely, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Sunday, November 23rd, in Benton City, WA. She was at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosemarie had been fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia since 2016. After she beat it the first time, it returned twice more. She fought it every step of the way. She was a strong woman, she loved her family, and she loved Jesus. She is in His loving arms now, and her pain is no more.

Rosemarie was the daughter of Raymond and Luella Seely, the middle child of five siblings. She graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1984. She met her future husband, Michael, while attending a jazz history class at Spokane Falls Community College. They were married in 1987. She graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1989, after which she pursued a career in accounting. But her main focus was always her family.

Rosemarie's faith in God was strong and center-most in her life. She positively affected many young women as a youth group mentor in Spokane Valley, WA.

Rosemarie is survived by her husband, Michael; her son, Dustin; her daughter, Jessica; her mother, Luella; her brothers, Ray, Robert and Ron; and her sister, Robin. She was 59 years old.
