Rose Jean Turco, age 93, passed away on October 27, 2006 in Kennewick, Washington. She was born to Anthony and Vittoria Amicucci on September 22, 1913 in Yonkers, New York. Rose ran an Italian Grocery store in the late 1930?s and worked on aircraft riveting during World War II. Her hobbies included crocheting, playing cards, Bingo and doing beadwork for garments. She also enjoyed Big Band music and loved to dance. Rose is preceded in death by her husband James Anthony Turco and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Joe Connell of Kennewick, Washington; son, Anthony AnnTurco of Cortlandt Manor, New York; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many friends at Charbonneau and Canyon Lakes Retirement Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat in Kennewick. Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at Parish of the Holy Spirit, 7409 W. Clearwater Ave. in Kennewick. Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
