Rosa Mae Callaway was born into this world on May 18, 1922. She passed away on April 9, 2015 and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mom's greatest joy and passion was caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a stay at home mom working tirelessly to meet the needs of her seven children. There wasn't a time when she didn't put her family's needs ahead of her own. There are very few women like our mother, who could at a moment's notice have fried okra, black eyed peas, mashed potatoes, corn bread and garden vegetables ready for unexpected guest or family. She was one of the very best mothers God ever placed on this earth. Mrs. Callaway was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ernest H. Callaway; her first born, Dolores Flint; her oldest son, Keith Callaway; and her two youngest children, Judy Bedell and Donna Brown. She is survived by her three remaining sons Jerry Callaway of Texas, Wayne Callaway of Pasco and Raymond Callaway of Kennewick. Mom also had 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. We would like to thank Jubilee Alzheimer's Care of West Pasco for their very special care of Mrs. Callaway. Thank you owners and staff for how you handled a very difficult situation. The graveside service will be held at City View Cemetery in Pasco on April 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
