Ronnie passed peacefully at the age of 80. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas and resided in Kennewick, WA. Ronnie is a 1962 graduate of Booker T. High School and earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Prairie View A & M University in Prairie View Texas, in 1967. Ronnie served in the Army for two years active duty in Colorado Springs, CO where he met Charlotte and married in 1969 and left the army as a First Lieutenant. Moving to the Tri-Cities to start his profession as a chemist in supervisor positions in the chemical and environmental areas. Over the years Ronnie has worked at Nuclear Facilities throughout the United States. Ronnies hobbies were fishing, photography, and telling jokes.
Ronnie is survived by his wife Charlotte E., son Michael J. Wheeler, preceded in death by son Chris C. Wheeler, parents C.C. Wheeler & Vivian Wheeler, two brothers, William & James Wheeler.
The family would like to gratefully thank all the caregivers, coworkers, & friends during Ronnie illness. In lieu of flowers please give to a charity of your choice.
Ronnie will have a Military Service Monday June 2, 2025 at 11:00am at Mueller's Funeral Home in the chapel, 1401 S. Union Kennewick WA.
