Ron Herman passed away Thursday, July 30th, 2026, surrounded by his family. Ron was born to Henry and Bertha Herman, January 27, 1937 in Nisland, South Dakota. He worked for U&I Sugar in South Dakota and later transferred to the Toppenish WA Factory.

The family then moved to Kennewick, WA in 1974, where Ron worked for Prior Land, K2H Farms and Cascade Bearings until he retired in 1999. He was a member of the Toppenish Baptist Church where he was a deacon and was on the building committee. In Kennewick he was a member of South Hills Church. He served as a deacon, on the building committee, the pulpit committee, youth leader and helped in the nursery.

He spent any free time he had with his growing family and maintaining his small farm. Ron was preceded in death by his father, mother, twin brother, Donald, and Sister Cynthia. He is survived by his wife Barbara, Daughters, Valeria, Carla (Greg) Markel, Sons Greg (Cindy), Mike (Annette), 9 grandchildren Jason (Heidi) Derick (Katie) Nick, Jake, Tayler (Matt) Jacob, Tim, Chad (Kristina) Shane (Chandra) and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held August 22, 2:00pm, Mueller’s Funeral Home 1401 S Union St. with a reception to follow at 3pm Life Tributes Center 314 W 1st Avenue, Kennewick, WA.
