RON BOEDKER OBITUARY

Ron Boedeker, age 79 passed away on December 18, 2025 at Kadlec Hospital, Richland Washington. He was born on January 18, 1946 in Lansing, Michigan to Lucille and Ralph Boedeker. He worked as a plumber/pipefitter until he retired from Battelle. He met his wife Gloria in 1977, and they later married on March 15, 1979 in Richland, Washington. They shared 46 devoted years together.

He was a member of the Koi club for many years and served as their president. He loved being involved in the Koi world. He had a big pond in the backyard with many Koi that took up his spare time.

Ron is survived by his wife, Gloria, and their two children, Kathryn Velazco (Casey), Manuel Velazco, two grandchildren, Kyle Huffstutter (Nicole Kissee), Kelsey Huffstutter (Jose Vargas), and 5 great grandchildren, brothers David Boedeker (Julie) and Mike Boedeker (Jan), and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille and Ralph Boedeker, two brothers, Terry Boedeker and Steve Boedeker.

Mueller's Funeral Home is handling the cremation and burial. No memorial service is planned currently.
