Roger Duane Wolf, son of William (Bill) and Ruby (Boone) Wolf, was born on July 25th 1935 in Quinter KS. He passed from this life in the early hours of Sept. 9th 2025 at the home of his son and family. This made his sojourn through life 90 years, 1 month and 15 days.

On June 21st 1968 Dad married Norma J. Watkins of Garnett KS. She was teaching elementary music in Quinter at the time. They were blessed with 3 children; Stephanie, Steven, and Laureen. Dad and Mother were baptized into the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Big Creek district of Quinter on April 6th 1971, to which they remained faithful.

Farming was Dad`s lifelong occupation. Following some difficult financial years, they made the decision to move to Pasco, WA in 1985. Moving at 50 years of age made for many new acquaintances. He loved a good visit and made many friends. Faith, family, and brotherhood were a vital part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his companion, their 16-year-old daughter Laureen, on Nov. 2nd 1989, his parents, stepfather Philip Wolf, step father Allen Yoder who had two children, Harold (Butch) Yoder and Linda (Yoder) McLin, parents-in-law Evan and Clarrisa (Dutton) Watkins, brothers and sisters-in-law Fern and Paul Jewel, Mildred and Wayne Lockridge, Nellie and Delbert Wyant, and Marvin and Gloria Watkins.

He is survived by his children, Philip and Stephanie Bauman and Steve and Marla Wolf, his brother and sisters with their companions Bill and Erma Jean Wolf, Rachel and Millard Brovont, Ruth and Lee Benedict, and Susan and Elwin (Butch) Young. Also left to mourn his passing are 14 grandchildren (8 with companions) and 22 great grandchildren.

And now we commit him to our Heavenly Father as he waits in hope of the glorious resurrection.
