Roger Dean Gould, age 63, passed away on December 28, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 28, 1962, in Hamilton, Missouri. His family moved to Washington when he was younger, and he graduated from Prosser High School in 1980. He has lived in Kennewick, Washington for the past 35 years.

Roger began his career with the Benton County Sheriff's Office in January 1990 and served for 25 years in various roles, retiring as a Detective in January 2015. One of the highlights of his career was being a K-9 handler with his dog Caro. Since retirement, he has spent much of his time in the mountains and trees at his and Robin's retirement cabin located near Missoula, Montana.

Roger is survived by his wife of 30 years Robin, and their son Jarrett Gould, his sister Lynda Fox and her husband Randy, nephews Nic Fox and Trevor Fox and their families, and brother Jim Gould.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents Dean and Alma Gould.

Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick is handling the cremation and burial, and he will be laid to rest in the Glendale District section of Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
