Robert L. Wagener, 70, has gone to heaven to have everlasting life on Saturday, November 18th, 2006 after a courageously long battle with Alzheimer?s. He was born on July 12th, 1936 near Mapleton, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam war and made a career as a military police officer and retired after 22 years of service. Robert lived in Richland, WA for the past 30 years and worked as a Hanford Patrolman for 17 years where he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Grace Wagener; three siblings, Charles, Ralph, Bill; son, Daniel Wagener; family dog, Sam. He is survived by his wife, Miki Wagener; son, Steven Wagener; son, Mark Felecia Wagener; daughter, Anna David Wagener-Mitson; 3 granchildren; Jacob Wagener, Adam Wagener, and Paige Wagener; grand-dog, Sunny; six siblings, Johnnie, Mary Ann, Nora, Nancy, Carl, Lee Roy. A private military graveside memorial service for the family will be held at Mueller?s Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions for a memorial park bench may be made in Robert?s name to City of Richland, 500 Amon Park Drive, Richland, WA 99352. Dad, we all love you.
