Obituary

Robert "Dick" R. Ruble, 64, was born in Seattle, WA. April 10, 1944. He passed away in his sleep at home Feb. 18, 2009. He attended Pasco High and C.B.C. For over twenty years, he and brother David owned and ran R&R Cars in Pasco. He was a founding member of the Tri-Cities Rods & Roadsters Car Club. For many years Dick was a volunteer firefighter for Franklin Co. Dist. #3 and an active member in The Sons of American Legion. He was happiest hanging out in the garage restoring old cars with family and friends, going on Rod Runs, wheel'n and deal'n at the Portland car show and swap meet, he basically loved anything with a motor that went fast. Dick loved big family get togethers and he "never met a party he didn't like." He was blessed with, "The gift of Gab" and he made a friend of everyone he met. He also enjoyed the trumpet, hunting, camping, fishing, scuba diving, and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents; Velma & Robert Alexander Ruble. He is survived by his son Ryan A. Ruble Roxann, grandson Jackson, daughter Kerri Ruble Bailey Jason, brother David Ruble Kathy, sisters Margo Souhrada Mark, and Lori Clifford Glen. Also, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. He will be greatly missed.
