August 16, 1922 - July 26, 2010 Robert Rockne was born in Glendive, Montana, on August 16, 1922. Robert and Cora were married on October 9, 1947 in Pasco, Washington. He is survived by his wife, Cora, and children Larry Barbara Rockne, Patricia GawainCharles, Robert LaRae Rockne, and Cheryl Kevin Eaton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert proudly served his country in the Navy during WWII and was a retired meter foreman with the Franklin PUD. He was a member of the IBEW Local 77. One of his favorite past times was spending time on his ham radio W7ITG talking with other ham operators across the country. He also encouraged 3 of his kids to get their ham licenses. Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 7th at 10:00 am at Riverview Heights Cemetery in Kennewick.
