Robert Frank Love was born March 5, 1920 in Ringold, Washington to Alfred and Lorena Love. He was the youngest of six children. Robert graduated from Connell High School in 1938. He was drafted in 1942 and served as a crew chief in the 388th Bomb Group, Eight Air Force, Army Air Corp, England 1943-1945. Robert was Honorably Discharged as a Master Sergeant. Robert married Marjorie Pfliger on December 12, 1942 in Boise, Idaho. Marjorie died one week before their 69th anniversary. Robert and Marjorie had two sons, Kerry and Dennis. Robert worked at Hanford 21 years and was a weekend farmer 10 years before becoming a full time farmer for 28 years. Robert and Marjorie's farm was in Block 20, North Franklin County. He retired from farming in 1997, then moved to Richland living there for 17 years before moving to Parkview Estates in Kennewick. Robert was preceded in death by wife Marjorie, son Lt. Kerry Love who was killed in Vietnam in 1969, brothers Turner, Lee and Dan, sisters Morine and Margaret. He is survived by son Dennis and daughter-in-law Ellen. A service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00am at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco, interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Connell.
