Our hearts are broken with the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather; but we are comforted in knowing he is free of pain and is now fishing the best fishing holes in heaven. Bob was born in Vancouver, WA to Beverlee and John Norman. After their divorce, Beverlee married Larry Gaylor.

Life was busy with FFA, wrestling and football; along with annual vacations at the beach, camping and family gathering. Bob's grandparents were a large influence in the man he was to become.

Bob graduated in 1973 from Battle Ground H.S. and in 1975 married Rene' Pepiot. Kennewick became their home for over 48 years. He was employed by Exxon nuclear (now Framatome) for 27 years and B.F. Transit for 10 years.

Life changed forever with the birth of their daughters Katie and Jodie. Bob was born to be a dad and he did it well. The word "no" never crossed his lips when it came to his girls. As the girls grew, life shifted gears. Soccer, softball and basketball were the sports of choice, traveling to tournaments nearly every weekend. The friendships made during this time were made for life.

Now enter the "grands". Bob's life would never be the same. Each grandchild held a very special place in his heart. Time spent with "The magnificent 7" was priceless. Volunteering was an activity Bob loved. Cooking for the Grange at the fair mowing the KA fields (10+ yrs.), 4th of July at Columbia Park and taking tickets at the fair front gate for over 25 years.

Best known for the countless hours devoted to keeping stats for the sporting events at River View High School. He was dubbed "Statman", a title he will hold forever. The family's favorite vacation spot was the Pepiot Cabin at Priest Lake. The memories made there are the best. Boating, hiking, tubing, campfires, fishing and working projects with Pep. He also had a couple of close encounters at the lake well. A cougar wandered onto our beach and took off with the family dog; and his very close run in with Big Foot (Sasquatch) when fishing with Katie.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws Duane and Inie Pepiot. Continuing his legacy: his wife Rene', daughters Katie (Roland) Suitonu and Jodie Norman. His grandchildren, "The magnificent 7" Maddox, Capri, Jewels, Niko and Talia Suitonu; and Jaylee Kelley, M.J. Lara. Sisters and brothers Jonica Utten, Jim Norman (JoAnna), Janell Johns, Rich Gaylor.
