Mr. Robert "Bob" Anheluk passed away in Kennewick, WA on December 2nd, 2015 at the age of 70. Bob is survived by his wife, Janice Anheluk; children, Sandra & (Eric) Martin of Charlotte, NC Jeff Anheluk of Kennewick, WA, Jaime Johnson of Kennewick, WA; siblings, Yvonne Larson of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Kathleen Anheluk of Kennewick, WA; grandchildren, Shaylee Anheluk, Mikayla Martin, Zach Martin, Jessa Johnson, Jaylynn Johnson, Eli Anheluk and great Granddaughter Lilly Wallace; Nephews Greg (Margene) Stricklin, Bryon (Christy) Larson, Joshua Potter and Nieces Terri (Dan) Hanson, Pam (Richard) Lann. He is preceded in death by His parents as well as son-in law Jeremiah Johnson and daughter-in law Leah Anheluk. Bob was born on March 8, 1945 in Seattle, WA to John and Olga Anheluk. Bob graduated from Kiona Benton High School in 1963 and one year later joined the US Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. During his 4 year term in the Air Force Bob traveled around the world and achieved the rank of Sargent upon his honorable discharge in 1968. He married Janice Adkins in January 1971, moving to Kennewick, WA Bob began a 45 year career as a pipe fitter with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 598. During this career he held various roles including President of the local union. Over Bob and Janice's 44 year marriage the couple welcomed three children; daughter Sandra, son Jeff and daughter Jaime. Bob set about teaching them how to fish and hunt. Bob also enjoyed playing Softball with his buddies and gathering with friends. Bob attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church until his Multiple Sclerosis made regular trips difficult. Rosary Services will be held Sunday December 6th at 6:00 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, (Address below). A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday December 7th, 2015 at 1:00 pm also at St. Joseph's Catholic Church located at 520 S. Garfield St, Kennewick, WA, with a reception to follow at the church Rev. Richard D. Sedlacek will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.nationalmssociety.org) Funeral home will be handling private internment after the reception. The family would like to thank Isaac for his care and friendship over these past few months.
