Rhue Valerie Bouck was born May 13, 1938 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Howard F. Todd and Bertha Helen Short. She loved her older sister Jan dearly was preceded in death by all of them. She left us on December 19, 2020 to have a joyous reunion with her Savior and her family. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a spiritual rock to her family. Her faith in Jesus Christ and His Gospel never wavered despite many and varied trials she was given in her life. She faced each one with courage and overcame them all. Valerie was blessed with many talents and was one of those rare people who excelled in whatever she attempted artistically. She left her children and grandchildren with examples of the beauty she saw in the world done in oils. She loved music and at one point played violin with two different symphonies simultaneously while teaching also. She loved to tell people how much fun she had playing bass and singing backup vocals in her son's rock band in the'80s. Valerie is survived by Geoffrey (and Merrianne) Bullock, Todd (and Kari) Bullock, Darrell Bullock, Susan (and Dave) Jenkins, 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She will be profoundly missed in the coming years but her influence will continue to guide and influence her family until we are all reunited.
