Rhoda Eleath Keil Carlisle, 92 of Richland, passed away December 22, 2011 in Richland, Washington. She was born October 21, 1919 in Loma, North Dakota to Mary Jane Bennington and Christian Olaf Keil. She married James Carlisle February 8, 1945 at Hood Dairy, now Hood Park, where her sister lived in a home on the dairy. She liked to travel with the Rambling Rovers and the Kennewick Senior Center, recently returning from a trip to Tacoma. She liked to work on genealogy and crochet. She retired from J.J. Newberry after 20 years. Rhoda was preceded in death by her parents Mary Jane and Christian; her husband of 53 years, James, in 1998; sister Erma Rose; and brothers Ira O., Lile and Sidney Keil. She is survived by her daughter Shirley Carlisle of Richland, brother Dorn Keil of Pasco; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 1:00 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, with viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick.
