Obituary

Raymond Eugene Bradshaw, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, in Seattle, Washington. He was born on April 28, 1942, to Everett Raymond Bradshaw and Inez Pauline Garrett, in Estherville, Emmett County, Iowa. He was the third child of four children. Raymond and his family moved to the Lower Yakima Valley where he graduated from Grandview High School in 1960.

In August 1960, Raymond entered into military service. He was stationed in Fort Gordon, Georgia before going overseas as an Army security guard in Italy. He participated in "White Fog II", a Southern European Task Force field training exercise in Italy. "White Fog II" was design to test and improve logistical concepts and communications of the highly mobile SETAF command for the employments of weapons, equipment and personnel in support of NATO ground forces in northern Italy.

After his military service, he married Loma Jane Zoda on February 14, 1970 at the United Presbyterian Church in Prosser, Washington. They lived in the Tri-Cities area since their marriage. They recently celebrated their 55 anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Loma Bradshaw; daughter, Elizabeth Eva McClain; two sons, Bryan and Kelly Bradshaw; grandchildren, Katheryn Bradshaw, Vanessa Bradshaw, Brandi Phillips, and Jessica Glidewell; and great-grandchildren, Emma Jade Glidewell and Thomas Finn Glidewell.

He was preceded by his parents, Everett and Inez Bradshaw; his brothers, Ronald and Vernon; his sister, Ramona.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on March 15, 2025, at the Zillah Cemetery, Zillah, Washington.
