Obituary

Raul C. Alejandro Jr. passed away peacefully on November 22, 2015 surrounded by his family. Raul was born on September 10, 1947 in Lovington, New Mexico. Raul was a Vietnam vet, doing 2 tours in Vietnam. He served in the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles". He was awarded C.I.B Air Medal, Bronze Star, and Commendation Medal. He also served with the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged with certificate of achievement. He was a member of the Pasco American Legion Post #34, and also a member of the 1st Squadron, 1st Calvary association member of the 1st United States Calvary Order of the Golden Spur. Also awarded a Certificate of Merit Chapter 335 United Color Guard. Raul was a retired Millright Local 2403 for 36 years. He is survived by his father Raul Alejandro Sr. of Salem, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his mother Josephine Alejandro, his brother Juan Alejandro Sr., and his nephew Juan Alejandro Jr. He is also survived by his wife Rose Alejandro of 43 years, his daughters Alice (Nick) Alvarez of Myakka City, Florida; Amanda Gonzales of Sarasota, Florida; Appollonia (David) Alejandro of Pasco, Washington; also by his son Raul (Patricia) Alejandro III of Pasco, Washington, and also by numerous grandchildren "Love you Pappa.", 5 sisters, 1 brother and numerous cousins in Texas and Florida. The memorial service will be Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco. You can shed tears that I am gone or you can smile because I have lived.
