Randolph
Whiting
Nov 21, 1956 — Oct 8, 2024
Randolph Whiting (Randy) was born on November 21, 1956, in New York, New York to Clayton and Helen Whiting. When Randy was a toddler the family moved to Prince George, Virginia where he went to Prince George High School, then to Ashford University to further his studies. Randy first stepped into fatherhood when he married his first wife EJ Bell in 1981 where he adopted her daughter Nikki Bailey. Throughout his adulthood, Randy worked at various nuclear power plants and government test sites across the US. In 2002 he settled down by taking a long term job at Nevada Test Site where he worked for several years prior to transferring to Washington State where he worked for The Pacific National Laboratory and Hanford Test Site for WRPS - Washington River Protection Solutions LLC.
In 1992 Randy and Beatrice joined their hearts. On May 10, 2003, the papers were drawn, a Pastor was called, and the Love Affair was made Legal (Married) at their house in Avondale, AZ. Soon after they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. After their son was born, they relocated to Pasco, WA where Randy's love for fishing gained momentum. He purchased his 1st boat for which his wife referred to it as a 67 Chevy. Randy also enjoyed bowling and acrylic painting. He had much love for all his kids, Nikki Bailey, Kirk Douglas, and William Clayton Randolph Whiting.
Randy was a fun-loving person, with much joy in his heart and love and peacefulness was part of his makeup. Randy will be remembered by preferring to take a hug over a handshake, and wanting to make the best with what he had all while never stopping to strive to be better. He had a lot of what he liked most. LOVE, PEACE, and HAPPINESS.
Randolph Whiting went peacefully to his eternal resting place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Randy is preceded in death by his Parents Helen and Clayton Whiting, Grandparents Carrie and Randolph Washington, and Eleanor and William Whiting.
