Randall (Randy) Eugene Meaders, 76, of Kennewick, WA, died of pancreatic cancer on September 28, 2026. Randy was born in Spokane, WA on August 1, 1950 to Charles and Gloria Meaders, who were elated to start their family with a happy and healthy boy. After graduating from Ferris High School, Randy spent 6 years in the Air National Guard before starting a decades long career in Hanford security.
In 1973, while serving in the Air national Guard, his coworker Denny, set Randy up on a blind date with his sister. This is when Randy met the love of his life, Frankie. Excited to start their new lives together, they got married 10 months later on March 16th, 1974. Randy and Frankie couldn’t wait to start a family of their own and in 1980, they welcomed Veronnica with Victoria joining 3 years later.
Randy was active in his community. He was a member of Desert Springs Covenant Church for almost 40 years. He was actively a member of Southside Church when he passed. He volunteered at Vacation Bible School, participated in the Men’s group and Bible studies. He even played in the church softball league. Being a dad to two girls, Randy naturally became a registered Girl Scout. For over 20 years he helped with field trips, cookie sales, cooking at camps, and so much more.
In 1999 the family went on their first cruise and they were hooked. Randy and Frankie sailed over 25 times; visiting the Caribbean Sea, Panama Canal, Baltic Sea, and Randy’s favorite, Alaska. Randy loved spending time with his family and friends. He also games and trivia. His favorite game was cribbage and he would play weekly with his friends. Randy was also a member of MENSA, just like his mother.
Randy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frankie, his daughters Veronnica and Victoria, his Grandsons Riley and Ryan and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be October 17, 2026 at 11:00am at Southside Church, 517 Jadwin, Richland, WA.
