Rachel Dawn Halley

March 27, 1976 - December 19, 2023

A Memorial Service for Rachel Halley will be held 11:00 on December 27th at Bethel Church 600 Shockley Rd, Richland, WA 99352.

Rachel was born in Portland, Oregon, grew up in Waitsburg, Washington and graduated from high school in 1994. She graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2000. Following her graduation, she then moved to the Tri-Cities, in the fall of 2001. In the Tri-Cities, she started her first and only job as a Math Teacher at Carmichael Middle School in Richland, Washington. For the next 22 years, she not only transferred her love of math to her students but also built confidence, teamwork and leadership skills in both girls and boys as a coach for volleyball, basketball, softball, and track.

Rachel is survived by: her daughter Marcella Lizarraga; the love of her life Tanner Bamford; her parents Randy and Kris Halley; her sister Rhonda and husband Kyle Perry, nephew Kohl and niece Hannah and husband Felipe Prieto Fica; her sister Brandee and husband Jason Wheeler, nieces Sam and Lexi; and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
