Obituary

Perrie Nicholas Robitaille, 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 while traveling to enjoy one of his many hobbies, bowling.

On June 14, 1948, Perrie was born in Yakima, Washington to Francis Robitaille and Margaret Boltinghouse.

On June 17, 1972, Perrie married the love of his life, Marcia Brown. Perrie is survived by his son, Michael.

His many hobbies included: bowling, cooking, and fishing. He was a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy, where he retired as a Mess Management Specialist, with a rank of Petty Officer 1st Class (PO1). The ship he retired off of, USS Nicholas FFG-47, was an Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided missile frigate, that, as he said numerous times, "had all his names, except last." He was a plankowner (one of the first crew members aboard), 1st to get Meritorious Promotion, & 1st to retire off the Nicholas.

Perrie is preceded in death by his wife, Marcia; father, Francis; mother, Margaret; and brothers, Bert and Kenneth.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at the Connell meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
