Patsy Ruth (Miller) Hull, age 97, was called home to heaven on November 27, 2024. Patsy was born August 17, 1927 to Herbert and Bessie Miller in Stevenson, WA. She was the eldest of six children, including two sisters and three brothers.

Patsy graduated from Stevenson High School, then spent one year in college at Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho. She moved to Pasco, WA in July 1947 and began her career as a bookkeeper, working for Empire Electric. She met Jim Hull, an electrician at Empire Electric, and they were married in Pasco on September 28, 1951. Patsy and Jim started their family in 1957 with the addition of daughter Sharon, and in 1961 with the addition of son Michael James. Patsy was a wonderful mother and wife, faithfully supporting her family as they worked, played and grew. Patsy and Jim were married for 28 wonderful years until Jim's sudden passing in 1979.

In 1972 Jim and Patsy started Essco Electric in Pasco with Bud Bewlay and Chuck Kovalchick, and Patsy kept the books for the business. After Jim's passing, Patsy continued her bookkeeping career at a large agricultural business outside of Pasco, and then for Lantor's Clothing in Kennewick until her retirement in 1989.

Patsy was a lifelong Christian with strong, quiet faith in God, like many of the greatest generation shared. The church was a pillar of her life from childhood forward. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and lifting her beautiful soprano voice in song. Her love of music and singing began with her musical family, and through her early years she often sang for weddings and funerals with her sisters Mary Ann and Helen.

Patsy also enjoyed golfing and walking. After retirement she was a member of the Kadlec Mall Walking program and was featured in a Tri-City Herald article when she had walked 15,000 miles in Columbia Center mall! Patsy thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee at McDonald's or Burger King with her 'coffee group', and she was a compassionate and dedicated volunteer at the Tri-Cities Cancer Center. She loved spending time with family both locally and in Stevenson, WA, and excelled at capturing cherished times with family and friends in photos. Patsy leaves a legacy of kindness, devotion, generosity, and love.

Patsy is survived by daughter Sharon (Robert) Smart, son Michael (Casie) Hull, grandson James (Heather) Smart, granddaughter Melissa (Inaki) Goicoechea, granddaughter Kaitlynn (Bill) Cox, and 7 great-grandchildren. Patsy also leaves behind brothers Richard (Jane) Miller and Charles (Juli) Miller, brother-in-law David Zimmerman, sister-in-law Sally (Wayne) Bennett, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by the pioneering Edwards family (homesteaders in the Horse Heaven Hills) that loved her as one of their own. She was preceded in death by husband James Hull, sisters Helen Zimmerman and Mary Ann Galloway, and brother Herbert (Bud) Miller, who are there to welcome her home.
