Pam passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. Pam was born in Kennewick on March 16, 1961. Oldest daughter to PS & Juanitta Haakerud. She grew up in the Tri-Cities area and married her childhood sweetheart, Ted McCleary, on December 10, 1982. They welcomed two sons to the world, Daniel in 1982 & Michael in 1984. Daniel made her a grandma on July 1, 2005 when he and then partner, Jennifer Harris welcomed son Konner to the world. Pam worked 28 years at St Vincent DePaul as the charity coordinator and most recently at Lowes in Pasco. Pam had an artist heart and an amazing talent for creating beauty through her crafting. She and Ted were collectors and together they created a beautiful home. Pam had a brilliant mind and near photographic memory. She was an avid reader and had an extensive library. She could speak on, or research nearly any topic one could imagine. Though Pam and Ted didn't travel as much as they would have liked, they did enjoy their many trips to the Oregon coast. Exploring lighthouses, beach combing and searching for the elusive fishing float brought her such joy. She is survived by her husband Ted, sons Daniel and Michael, grandson Konner and granddaughter Jazmine, brother William Wallace, sisters Teri Cooney and Kim Fuller, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. Pam was loved more than she could ever imagine. The world lost a beautiful soul. Rest in peace until we all meet again. A potluck for friends and family will be this Saturday, November 18th, 1:00pm at the ARC of Richland, 1455 Fowler Street, Richland.
