Oscar
Garcia Iii
Jul 4, 1994 — Mar 16, 2025
Oscar Garcia III, a fiercely protective and beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, and friend, passed away far too soon at the age of 30 on March 16th, 2025. Although he will be missed by many, he is now reunited with his mother, Shannon Byrd, who preceded him in passing just a short time ago.
Oscar was the son of Oscar Garcia, Jr., who describes him as "kind, a protector." He leaves behind a family that loved him deeply including his siblings, Kassandra, Promyse, Fabian, Natalie, and Jacob; his nephew, Abel; his niece, Kaylani; and many more.
Driven by an unyielding sense of duty, his commitment to his family was both powerful and resolute. Oscar's unique view of the world, inquisitive mind, and thoughtful soul allowed him to spark meaningful conversations and aided him in making music, both of which would inspire new ways of thinking.
Oscar's compassion and generosity touched everyone he met. Helping others was not just something he did – it was an integral part of who he was.
Services to honor both Oscar and Shannon will be held in a combined memorial where their lives and their extraordinary bond will be celebrated with the love and respect they deserve. Though his time was far too short, Oscar's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness, his loyalty, and his love.
