Opal was born on March 23rd 1908 to Wilburn and Ida May Cusic of Gross, Kansas. She was the 5th of their 9 children. She married George Owens in 1931 and moved to Kennewick in 1947. She was a homemaker. She went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2008. She was a charter member of the Kennewick Assembly of God Church. Her faith in God was the center of her life and she continued to read her Bible daily until the very end She had just celebrated her 100th Birthday with family. She had no children but was extremely loved by her numerous nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, and 7 of her siblings. She is survived by her remaining brother, Marty Cusic, of Independence MO.
