Obituary

Norman Ingraham was born September 11, 1922 in Woodworth, North Dakota to Lyle and Gena Ingraham and passed on June 10, 2017. The Ingraham family (Lyle, Gena and children, Ray, Norman, Willard and Lorraine) spent Norman's early years in North Dakota farming. They all loved family gatherings, playing music (Lyle played the violin and Gena played the piano) and playing cards. The family moved to Washington State and WWII broke out, all of the brothers served. When Norman came back from his military service he went to work in Grandview, WA where he met his wife of 70 years, Verdell. They moved to Prosser and Norman went to work for Valley Ready Mix where he drove cement truck for 33 years and farmed. Norman and Verdell lived a wonderful life together traveling, dancing, playing cards, fishing, horseback riding and enjoying their family. His family was very important to him as was his deep faith in God. Norman is survived by his wife Verdell, his son Jerome/Lisa Ingraham (Robert Ingraham, Kelly/ Don Brown and JW Ingraham), daughter Janette Burgess/Joe Vanliropp (Shannon/Johnny Santoy and McKenzie Garberg) and daughter Jackie Turner (Tamara/Randy Peters and Steffani/Doug Cooper) and 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, brother Willard Ingraham and numerous sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws who couldn't have been closer if they were blood relations. Norman also enjoyed a close relationship with his many nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to his friends for the deep friendship he enjoyed with them over the years. Services will be June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, WA and burial will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
