Obituary

On the evening of Wednesday, January 15, 2025, Nellie Madge (Osler) Bjorgo,86, peacefully ended her earthly journey in Burbank, Washington. Her loved ones were waiting with open arms.

She was born to Emmett Noel Osler and Gail Estella (Reichstein) Osler on June 15, 1938, in Carson, Iowa. Madge is the name she was known. Madge lived in Iowa and Nebraska until she was a teenager. The family moved from Nebraska to Twin Falls, Idaho while in her teen years. After a few years of marriage, she moved to Washington State. The rest of her life was spent in the Pacific Northwest, with the last 45 years in Burbank, Washington.

Madge was married to three wonderful men. She married Larry Edward Denton in Twin Falls, Idaho, Donald Max Leidel in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Gerald (Jerry) Bjorgo in Carson City, Nevada.

Madge loved her family, children, cats, dogs, and horses. While living in Nebraska she spent many hours riding her horse.

Madge was a server for many years until she found the job she absolutely loved working for Pasco School District. She was a school bus driver for Pasco School District until she retired. Madge became a 4-H Leader during this time working with children and their horses. She was teaching them how to take care of their horse and how to ride. This allowed her to combine two things she enjoyed, working with children and horses.

Many will remember the annual BBQ Jerry and Madge held the Sunday before Labor Day. It was a time for friends, family, and ex-husbands to come together to eat and enjoy each other's company.

Madge is survived by her children and step-children: Joy Nellie Joe (Denton) Cazier (Kennewick, Washington), Mark Edward Denton (Seattle, Washington), Helen Rae (Denton) Steinshouer (Burbank, Washington), Larry Alan Denton (Burbank, Washington), Cheryl Marie (Leidel) Bolin (Kennewick, Washington), Gunther Carl Leidel (Pasco, Washington), Sandy Bjorgo, Jerry Bjorgo, Diana Bjorgo and Carrie Ann Bjorgo. She is survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her beloved horses Kid, Billy and Penny. Her rescue dog, Socks.
