Obituary

Nathaniel Martin Garcia, age 16, of Pasco, WA, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023.

Beloved son of Hidalia Garcia, loving brother to Naydelynn Adriana Gudino, and cherished grandchild of Carmen and Martin Garcia. He is also survived by his aunts Angelica, Aurora, and Evangelina, uncles Erik, David, and Juan, and extended family, who mourn his untimely departure.

Nathaniel Martin Garcia was born on January 2, 2007, and brought joy to everyone around him from the very beginning. He attended out at Finley School District, Southridge High, and his last couple years was at Chiawana High School where he received several Hispanic Academic Achievement Program awards since fourth grade, attended Construction Trades at Pasco High and was asked to build a shed to donate the proceeds to a child with cancer. His enthusiasm for life, bright smile, laughter, and photography skills endeared him to friends and family alike.

He faced life's challenges with resilience and a positive spirit, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Nathaniel Martin Garcia will be remembered for being a prankster, his contagious laugh, and beautiful spirit.

Viewing and Rosary will take place on Tuesday, December 19th from 6 pm - 8 pm at Mueller's Funeral Home in Kennewick. Celebration of life will be on Wednesday, December 20th at 11 am in St. Joseph Parish (small church in Kennewick) followed by burial at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, followed by a tribute for Nathaniel's life at Life Tributes Center at 2:30 pm (Kennewick).

Amado hijo de Hidalia Garcia, cariñoso hermano de Naydelynn Adriana Gudino, y nieto querido de Carmen y Martin Garcia. También le sobreviven sus tías Angelica, Aurora y Evangelina, tíos Erik, David y Juan, y familia extendida, quienes lloran su partida prematura.

Nathaniel Martin Garcia nació el 2 de enero de 2007 y alegró la vida de todos desde el principio. Asistió al distrito escolar de Finley, a Southridge High, y los últimos años en Chiawana High School, donde recibió varios premios del Programa de Logros Académicos Hispanos desde el cuarto grado, participó en Construction Trades en Pasco High y fue invitado a construir un cobertizo para donar las ganancias a un niño con cáncer. Su entusiasmo por la vida, su brillante sonrisa, risa y el amor para la fotografía lo hicieron querido por amigos y familiares por igual.

El velorio y el rosario se llevarán a cabo el martes 19 de diciembre de 6 p. m. a 8 p. m. en Mueller's Funeral Home en Kennewick. La celebración de la vida será el miércoles 20 de diciembre a las 11 am en la parroquia de St. Joseph (pequeña iglesia en Kennewick), seguida del entierro en Desert Lawn Memorial, seguido de un tributo por la vida de Nathaniel en Life Tributes Center a las 2:30 pm (Kennewick).
