Obituary

A devout and loving Christian, Nancy Marie Stimson, aged 60, our beloved wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend has passed on to dance with Jesus. A leap year baby, Nancy had just celebrated her "15th" birthday on the 29th of February. Born in Lamesa, Texas in 1948, Nancy, once a tomboy, blossomed into Homecoming Royalty as a graceful, beautiful young woman. In the summer of 1965, she and her family relocated to the Yakima Valley, where Nancy soon met and then wed Gene, the man with whom she would share her life. In May of 2008 they were to have celebrated their 41st year of marriage. Her life thereafter was blessed with her three children: Michael, Tanya, and Daniel. Ever devoted to the service of her Lord and his children, Nancy spent much of her time engaged in selfless labor for those in need. Beyond her love of scripture, she had a flair for the arts, especially painting and the art of calligraphy. It was her grandchildren, however, who most gratified her: Elijah, Jayden, Malachi, Logan, Isabella†, Abigail, Kaydince, Lala, Kili, Jasmine, Jessie, and Diego. Nancy welcomed with love and affection her children's significant others: Michael's April, Tanya's Adan, and Daniel's Lani. She was preceded into heaven by her parents, Robert and Agnes Lovett, and her granddaughter, Isabella. Nancy's gentle spirit is now in God's hands, a gracious, smiling, bubbly, vibrant addition to heaven's choir. A Memorial Service will be held Friday March 28th at 2:00 p.m., at Chapel of the Falls located at 314 W. 1st Ave in Kennewick with a dessert reception to follow.
