Nancy Newsom Darden, 86, passed away May 6, 2008 in Kennewick, Washington. She was born September 2, 1921 in Durham, North Carolina to Annie Laurie Long Newsom and Marion Eugene Newsom. She was the loving wife of James Henry Darden, Jr., who precedes her in death. She was a devoted mother of her children James Henry Darden, III of Greenville, NC, Susan Darden Henwood of Kennewick, WA and Durston Reeder Darden of Sanford, NC, all of whom survive her. Graveside Services will be held Friday, May 16, 2008, 3:30pm, at Forest Hills Cemetery in Farmville, North Carolina.
