Mitsuko H. Irvine, age 88, of Benton City, Washington passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Parkside Adult Care Home of West Richland, Washington. She was born in Okinawa, Japan on December 27, 1934, daughter of the late Kame (Nakasone) and Kamado Hirata. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant son in 1962; older brother, Zentoku, in 1945, and older sister, Misako, in 2008. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold H. Irvine; her children, Mickey Lynn Irvine, Linda Sue Irvine, Mary Elizabeth Sullivan (Irvine); and 6 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She loved children and sports, was an avid bowler and golfer and loved to watch baseball and sumo. She will be forever missed by her family to whom she gave so much love and care.
