Mickel was born to Elisa M. and Dale Davis on Saturday, August 26th, 1972 in Pasco WA. To quote one of his lifelong friends, " Mickel's big heart just couldn't support big Mike anymore, he will be missed for sure" and so on Saturday, July 17th, 2010, Mickel passed away at home. Mickel spent his younger years as a student at St. Pats, Longfellow, Mc Laughlin and Pasco High and graduated in 1991. Some of Mickel's happiest moments took place on the field as Pasco High Varsity football player, including being a member of the 87-88 Pasco High Undefeated Freshmen Football Team, during which time he forged friendships that lasted a lifetime. Mickel spent many summer vacations traveling with his Mother and sister, Mexico, Hawaii and the Grand Canyon, were among his favorite destinations. It was during these trips that many memorable moments involved spending time with his Uncles, from going to Mexico City and Acapulco with Tio Jose, attending bullfights with Tio Aurelio, talking and laughing under the lime tree with Tio Margarito, and as a young boy getting to be at the controls of his Uncle B.C.'s plane, and celebrating most of his birthdays surrounded by his Tios and primos. Mickel loved music and his guitar. He was an avid reader whose tastes in reading material were eclectic. His true passion was electronics, there wasn't a computer malfunction he couldn't solve, and for this reason, whether family or friend, if there was a computer problem to be solved, all roads led back to Mickel. His knowledge and expertise are evidenced in his accomplishments. Mickel attended ITT and earned his AA Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology in Spokane, and his BA Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology in Seattle, and, it wasn't long after graduating that he landed a job in this field working in Everett; where he remained employed until he became ill. Mickel has returned home to the loving arms of his beloved mother Elisa, father Dale, Grandparents and a host of Tios and Tias. Mickel is survived by his sister, Kiya Claudia and more than a brother- in- law, Jack Wilkerson, Pasco, Tias Natalia Garcia, Phoenix, and Concha H. de Moreno , Cd Juarez,, special person in his life, Anne Beer, many cousins and his lifelong buddies: Jared Lembcke, Brian Luchi, Jorge Calderon, and Chris Penny.
