Obituary

Michael Lloyd Morrow died Nov. 16, 2010, at Garden Village in Yakima, Washington, of complications of Lewy Body Dementia. He was born January 20, 1956, at Larson Air Force Base in Moses Lake, Washington, and lived most of his life in Kennewick. Michael was a student at St. Joseph's School, Highlands Middle School and a graduate of Kamiakin High School. While at Kamiakin, Michael excelled at both baseball and football, and he became Kamiakin's first-ever first-team all Big Nine Conference football player at defensive back. Michael graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, and moved back to the Tri-Cities soon after. Besides his family, Michael leaves behind numerous friends that he made over the years through playing softball, golf and basketball, officiating sports events, and through his work. His greatest love was reserved for his Seahawks and his family, especially his children. Michael is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Ann of Franklin, Tenn., and Heather Marie of Renton, Washington; his stepson, Christopher Kirk Smith of Renton, Washington; his parents, Jack and Pat Morrow of Kennewick; his sisters, Catherine Steve Stein of Bothell, Washington, and Mary Ann Mark Showalter of Richland; his brother, Jeffrey Connie Morrow of Kennewick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, Jeff and Bessie Morrow, and Lloyd and Helen Ackley.
