Michael Donnell Mangum was born October 16, 1956 in Pasco, WA to the union of Lewis Mangum, Sr. and Maggie McGhee Mangum.. Michael accepted Christ at an early age, and attended church often. He went to Longfellow Elementary School, McLoughlin Junior High School, and graduated from Pasco High School in 1975. Michael also attended SCCC in Seattle, WA. He was employed as a laborer by several construction companies in both Seattle and Pasco. Michael loved his family and was a faithful friend whom you could count on. Michael was preceded to Glory by his father, Lewis Mangum, Sr., two brothers: Lewis, Jr. and David,; one niece, Sabrina; and two nephews: Bryan and Dominic. Michael leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, Jason of Pasco, WA; mother, Maggie C. Mangum of Idaho Falls, ID; three sisters: Lynda Charles of Seattle, WA, Loretta Lloyd of Idaho Falls, ID, and Karen Mario of Yakima, WA; four brothers: Otis Clover of Portland, OR, Charles of Richland, WA, Jerry of Yakima, WA, and Stephen Kim of Spokane, WA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Michael was a happy person who kept a big smile on his face, and would always try to uplift and encourage others. We will dearly miss Michael's gentleness, his sharing ways, and his tender heart.
