Obituary

Michael "Mike" Peter Dallas, age 65, passed away on March 23, 2026 in Kennewick, Washington, surrounded by his family.

Mike was born on October 22, 1960, to Frank and Beatrice Dallas in Prosser, Washington. As one of ten children, he grew up in the Tri-Cities. During high school years, he was a wrestler and developed a strong passion for the sport. Growing up in a large family was something Mike always cherished. An avid hunter, some of his favorite memories and stories were made during Dallas Deer Camp.

Mike worked alongside his father and brothers in the family business, Dallas Utility Service. He met Kelly Gibbs, they married in 1981. Together, Mike and Kelly welcomed their three children, Amanda, Ashley, and Jordan.

In 1993, Mike moved his family to Finley, where he started Dallas Painting. He took pride in his work, raising animals and embracing country life with his kids. He had a deep love for the Fair, actively involved in 4-H and his kids' sports.

Mike cherished being a grandfather. He loved his grandchildren deeply, was the "fun" grandpa, giving horsey back rides, motorcycle rides, fishing and throwing a ball around. He was always their biggest fan.

In 2002, Mike met Chandra Plastino, they remained together until his passing. They shared a love for raising their dogs together and built a life filled with companionship and care.

Mike is survived by his longtime partner, Chandra Plastino; his children, Amanda Bush (TJ), Ashley Rosengarten (Nick), and Jordan Dallas (Courtney); his beloved grandchildren, Trey, Carter, Journey, Nicholas, Sadie, and little Charli on the way. He is also survived by his siblings and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Dallas and Beatrice Fields and his brothers, Frank Dallas Jr. and Dennis Dallas.

Mike will be remembered for his big heart, his love for his family, and the way he never hesitated to help others. May his spirit live on in the memories of those who loved him.
