Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and son-in-law, passed away on April 3, 2025, at the age of 72.

He was born on August 6, 1952, in Austin, Texas, to Annie and Albert Boatright. He moved to Kennewick, Washington as a teenager and called it home for the rest of his life. Mike was the devoted husband of Sandra L. Hood Boatright and the proud father of Allison, Jennifer, Jeffery, and Rachel. He was a loving grandfather to Nick, Isabella, Joshua, Kate, Elizabeth, Colton, Olivia, and Sam. He was a loyal brother, and a man who deeply loved and cherished his family and friends.

He worked for IBP for many years before stepping into his favorite role as a stay-at-home dad. Mike was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it was often with a dad joke—even if he was the only one laughing. He loved telling stories, especially ones he'd told a few times before, and they always brought a smile.

Mike had a passion for classic cars—especially his 47 Studebaker truck, 70 Corvette, and 69 Dodge Dart. He was also a lifelong comic book fan, with a special love for Marvel superheroes. Whether under the hood of a car or thumbing through a comic, he found joy in the things he loved and shared that joy freely with those around him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Albert Boatright, his brothers, Charlie, Dave, and Larry, his niece, Debbie, and sister-in-law, Velma.

He will be remembered for his kind blue eyes, his quiet humor, his steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family.

Mike's warmth and wit left a lasting impression, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
