Obituary

Melvin (Bud) Hard Brown, age 88, of Burbank (Charbonneau), passed away peacefully late in the evening on January 4, 2019 at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick. Born March 20, 1930 to Archie and Mabel Brown in Meadow Valley, California. With sisters Lula Mae Rose and Margret Ann Robins, the family moved to Arizona. Bud graduated from Buckeye Union High School. He studied electrical engineering at Arizona State University and College of San Mateo. He served in the U.S. Air Force from December 1949 to December 1952. Bud spent his entire career in Electronics Manufacturing. After 25 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, Bud found his way to the Tri-Cities. He founded Manufacturing Services, Inc. in 1979 and successfully operated and grew that business until his retirement in 2006. Bud is remembered with love by his loving wife of 19 years Teresa; children Michael, Patrick, Kelleen, Karen, Melvin, Lesa, and Todd, fifteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and a number of cousins, nephews, and nieces. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday January 12, at 2:00PM at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House would be appreciated.
