Maxine Davis Martin, 86, passed away December 12, 2024 in Kennewick, WA. Maxine was born December 24, 1937 to Clyde and Emily Finch in Dell, Arkansas. She graduated Kennewick High School class of 1955. Maxine married the love of her life Delano "Jack" Davis on November 9, 1956.

During her working years, Maxine developed skills and was a typesetter for the Tri-County Tribune in Deer Park, WA. Eventually, she took those skills to the graphics department at Battelle NW continuing the typesetting work in Richland, WA. After retirement, Maxine lived for several years in Benton City, WA, where she served on the Board of the Chamber of Commerce. She also devoted her time to helping at the American Legion Auxiliary.

Maxine is survived by her three children, Ken (Barb) Davis, Pam (Chris) Mercer, and Walter (Melanie) Davis. She is also survived by her six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Maxine is preceded in death by her husband Delano "Jack" Davis and daughter Julie Davis.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 11AM at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA 99338.
