Mary Jane Lawrence was born on February 28, 1934, in Butte, Montana to Stanley and Mary Lawrence. She passed away on Palm Sunday March 29, 2026. She was raised in Butte and graduated from Butte High School in 1953.
She met the love of her life Eugene (Gene) Senger at the Victory Club in December 1954. They were married May 21, 1955 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Butte, Montana. Jane was a stay-at-home mother to their four children. They moved to Kennewick Washington with their family in 1967. She was active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She spent several years as a religious education coordinator and a member of the Alter Society at St. Joseph's Parish in Kennewick. Gene and Jane were members of St. Joseph's church the entire time they resided in Kennewick. Gene and Jane enjoyed spending time with all their grandchildren, watching them play sports, and attending many sporting events around the Tri-Cities. They also loved to dance and were the most gracious couple on the dance floor.
The couple's children and their spouses are Suzette and Jack Rahmann, Florida; Greg and Sandra Senger, Lynda Senger, and John and Dawn Senger, all of Kennewick. They have 10 grandchildren, Saesha Senger, Tyler and Sydney Rahmann, Lucas (Clara), Travis (Sabrina) and Calen Senger, John Heckart, Gene (Alicia) Senger, Tysen (Ally) Stanley, Jude (Chloe) Senger, and 11 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
They were married for 66 years until Gene passed away in 2021 at the age of 90.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents, all her siblings, and her beloved Gene.
