Mary Ethel Morgan was born August 3, 1929 in Mount Bayou, Mississippi. She was the eldest of five children born to Sanders and Carletta Kensey. Mary Ethel attended Cleveland High School, she had a daughter, Hattie Mae Solomon, married Calvin Sims and moved to Los Angeles, California. Mary Ethel and Calvin soon relocated to Pasco, Washington in the 1950's, she was employed as a housekeeper, where she was always loved and respected for her hard work with her employers and their families. She loved to fish and garden, as well as shopping, eating well , and traveling to visit family and friends in various states. Mary Ethel was preceded in death by daughter, Hattie Mae Solomon; mother, Carletta Kinsey; father, Sanders Kinsey, Sr.; and her brother, Elester Kinsey, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jackson Morgan of Los Angeles, California; brothers, Sanders Kinsey, Jr. Evelyn of Renton, WA, Roosevelt and Riley Acoff of Rochester, NY; devoted sisters, Vernice Garrett and Virgie Johnson, both of Pasco, WA; also Lisa Moore of Victorville, CA, Lori Denzer and Katheryn Thomas of Salt Lake City, UT, Joyce Elay, Bertha Buchanon and Theresa Brown, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Ethel?s presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all those she loved and touched, and for her outgoing personality, generous and caring heart during the wonderful years of her life.
