Mary Ellen Daling, 80 of Richland, passed away on March 29, 2008 in Richland. Mary Ellen was born August 1, 1927 in Kamiah, Idaho to Ernest and Johanna Luke Dickinson. She attended school in Kennewick, graduating from Kennewick High School in 1945. Mary Ellen attended Washington State College for four years earning a Pharmacy Degree in 1949. She married Roger Dutch Daling August 29, 1948. They had seven children: Mike Kay of Silverdale, Tom of Anchorage, AL, Dan of Port Orchard, Phil Cindy of Richland, Pat Diana of Bremerton, Dave of Richland, and Betsy of Federal Way. Besides supporting their children through involvement in PTA, sports and scouts, she was also instrumental in organizing her High School class reunions. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother Bill and her sister Frances. She is survived by all of her children, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren with two more about to be born and one brother, Dave of Idaho Falls, ID.
