Martin James Sanders passed away at the age of 66 on Monday, May 6, 2019 at Trios Southridge Hospital surrounded by family. Martin was born July 11, 1952; his parents were James Willard Sanders and Doris Lenora Pettijohn. Martin grew up in Prescott on the family farm with his parents and sister, Debra. He played football in high school and graduated from Prescott High School in 1971. After high school, he learned to drive truck from Wayne Hinchcliffe and drove truck for multiple companies throughout his career. Martin was preceded in death by his mother, Doris, and his sister, Debra. He is survived by his father, James, his nephews, John Kerr (Marie) and Wesley Kerr (Sheena), and his niece, Alyssa VanPelt (Sean). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 at Ivy Cemetery in Prescott, WA at 10 o'clock a.m.
