Marguerite Eleanor Block Rosson, Age 79 of Kennewick, died at home on August 16, 2006. She was born January 28, 1927 in Vierdigre, Nebraska, to Willie and Josephine Block, the second of eight children. She graduated from Verdigre High School in 1944. Her greatest love in life was her family. Marguerite retired as a Manager from Westinghouse Hanford Comapny. She also worked for Rockwell Hanford Co and the Department of Energy. Marguerite really enjoyed life to the fullest, be it bowling, horse races, bridge, pinochle, gambling at casinos, family reunions at the beach or all day card marathons at Kay's cabin. Marguerite was a member of Kennewick First United Methodist Church, Hanfrod Retirees Association, Xi Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, Rambling Rovers and Toastmistress. Marguerite traveled the world with her husband Bob including Russia, China, England, Spain and Italy. Marguerite is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert Rosson, son Garry Barbara Rosson of Seattle, daughter Gaylene Dan Harris of Bothell, grandchildren Jon Rosson, Nikkole John Duvall, Jarred Brandy Ralls, Joshua Harris and great-grandaughter Aliyanna Ralls. She is also survived by sisters LaVonne Austin Anderson of Kennewick, Marilyn John Jamieson of Yakima, and brothers Roland Lousie Block of Liberty Lake, WA, Roger Gerry Block of Merced, CA, Richard Block of Antioch, CA and Rodney Tami Block of Richland. Also surviving are aunts Evelyn Boelter of Pierre, SD, and Ruby Juraced of Columbus, NE, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong frineds. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie and Josephine Block, sister Marjo Cooper and sister-in-law Ella Maureen Block. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Monday, August 21, 2006 at Kennewick First Methodist Church. Viewing will be held Sunday from 1-4:00 P.M. and Monday from 9-11:00 A.M. at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls 314 W. 1st.
