Marlene Jarrett, 69, passed away at her home Friday. She was born in Seattle and lived in Maltby with her parents and 3 brothers. In 1966, the family bought and moved to a farm near Connell where they raised cattle & alfalfa hay. Marlene had a horse name Tommy Taha that she loved. Marlene loved geriatrics and was working at the Heather House in Kennewick when she met her husband, Jim Jarrett, who was manager of an Artic Circle Drive In. They were married on April 29, 1978. They had 3 sons, Jason, Joshua, and Justin. They were the most important part of Marlene's life. She attended all the games they played from youth sports all the way through college. In 1997, Jim & Marlene started Central Industrial Sales, through the prodding of Marlene's father. Marlene kept the books and retired from nursing. Marlene loved to laugh and spoil her boys.
