Mark Wallace
Knight
Aug 4, 1964 — Sep 26, 2023
Mark Knight, 59, of Mesa, Washington, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 24, 2023.
Mark was born August 4, 1964, in Lewiston, Idaho, to the late Rex and Ellen Knight. Mark graduated from Peshastin-Dryden High School in 1983. After graduation, he worked with his father in a family business. In 1984, he found his permanent home in Connell WA where he met his wife, Cheryl, and started working at Americold. He worked at Americold for twenty-five years and became a Teamster at Hanford in 2009, where he worked until his death.
Mark and Cheryl were married on September 20, 1986, and just recently celebrated thirty-seven years of marriage. Mark and Cheryl had three children: Eric, Jenna, and Garrett.
Mark was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and anything that would allow him to be outdoors. Nobody was a stranger to Mark; everyone was his friend. He was a caring, generous, one-of-a-kind man who enjoyed nothing more than to share his many stories. His strong presence left an impact on everyone's lives and will leave a great emptiness.
Mark is survived by his wife Cheryl and his children, Jenna, and Garrett; his brother Walter (Barb) Knight; and his sisters Carolyn Knight, Denice (Mike) Barclay, Traci Knight (Clint Claron), and Lori Knight (John Fail). He is preceded in death by his son Eric, as well as his parents Rex and Ellen, brother Ricky Grim and sister Tammarra Grim.
