Marjorie Pamela
Stout
May 13, 1948 — Aug 15, 2025
Majorie (May) Stout passed away from natural causes at her home in Kennewick on August 14th, 2025. She was 77 years old.
Marjorie was born May 13, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to Charles and Mary May. The May family moved to Kennewick where Marjorie spent most of her childhood years, singing in the St. Paul's Episcopal Church choir where her father was pastor. She graduated with a degree in mathematics from Washington State University where she met and married James Scheller. Marjorie and James raised their two sons in Oregon City, Oregon until their divorce in 1985.
Marjorie married the love of her life, Roy Edgar Stout, Jr. in 1989 and the family made a life in Arizona. Roy was also a native of the Tri-Cities, so it was natural for them to relocate to their childhood home town in 1999. Roy passed in 2009, and Marjorie remained in the Tri-Cities surrounded by family, friends and a wealth of recipes from a life well lived.
Marjorie is survived by her two sons, James Scheller Jr. and Jeffrey Scheller, her step-daughter Amanda Ribero, her siblings Judy Collins, Charles May, Cheryl Forbes and Clarence May, many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Sunday August, 24th from 2pm to 6pm at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick.
